SOFIA FESKOVA’YLA RÖPORTAJ YAPTIK!
Eurovisiondream okuyucuları için 2020 Eurovision Çocuk Şarkı Yarışması’nda “My New Day” şarkısıyla Rusya’yı temsil eden 11 yaşındaki Sofia Feskova’yla röportaj yaptık. İyi okumalar.
İlk olarak, röportaj teklifimizi kabul ettiğin için teşekkür ederiz. Rusya’yı Junior Eurovision’da temsil edeceğin için tebrik ederiz. Junior Eurovision’a katılmayı her zaman istemiş miydin?
Evet, benim hayalimdi! Geçen sene de yarışmaya katılmayı denemiştim, ama başaramamıştım. Ve bu yıl, ikinci denememde her şey istenilen sonuca ulaştı. İyi ve güçlü rakiplerim vardı. Ve herkes şarkımı beğendiği için çok mutluyum.
Kendini tanıtır mısın?
Benim adım Sofia, Rusya’nın St. Petersburg şehrinde yaşıyorum.
Nasıl şarkı söylemeye başladın?
Çocukluğumdan beri şarkı söylemeyi seviyorum. Ana okulundayken tüm matinelerde (sabah gösterisi) performans sergiledim. Daha şimdiden hayatımı müziksiz düşünemiyorum. 7 yaşında St. Petersburg’taki Rimsky-Korsakov müzik okuluna girdim. Haftanın beş günü dersim var! Ayrıca bireysel vocal dersleri de alıyorum. Neredeyse tüm zamanımı müziğe ayırıyorum ve bunu gerçekten seviyorum.
En büyük ilham kaynağın nedir?
En sevdiğim şarkıcı Polina Gagarina. Bana gerçekten ilham kaynağı oluyor. Çok güçlü ve güzel bir sesi var. Onun şarkılarını söylemeyi ve dinlemeyi seviyorum. Ve bu arada, Polina Eurovision’a “A Million Voices” şarkısıyla katıldı! İkincilik derecesi bile aldı. O inanılmaz!
Şarkın “My New Day” senin için ne anlama geliyor? Şarkını nasıl tarif edersin?
Şarkımı gerçekten seviyorum. Her gününü umut etmek, pes etmemek ve hayallerine ihanet etmemek için nasıl parlak renklerle, nezaket ve ışıkla doldurmaya ihtiyacın olduğuyla ilgili.
Evde karantina zamanlarını nasıl geçirdin?
Tüm zamanımı ailem ve ismi Johnny olan sevgili köpeğim King Charles Spaniel’le geçirdim. Ayrıca boyama yaptım, piyano çaldım ve tabii ki de çokça şarkı söyledim!
Bildiğin gibi bu sene seçilen slogan “Move The World (Dünyayı Hareket Ettir)”. Bir çocuk olarak dünyayı hareket ettirmek için ne yapman gerektiğini düşünüyorsun?
En küçük bir eylem bile dünyayı daha iyi yapar. Dünyayı şarkılarımla ışık, mutluluk ve sıcaklıkla doldurmak istiyorum.
10 yıl sonra kendini nerede görüyorsun?
Kendimi 10 yıl sonra dünyaca başarılı ve ünlü bir sanatçı olarak görüyorum.
29 Kasım’da yayınlanacak performansından ne beklemeliyiz?
Henüz sırları açığa çıkaramam. Sadece performansımın büyülü ve muhteşem olacağını söyleyebilirim, ayrıca çok güzel mavi bir elbisem var. Umarım performansımdan keyif alacaksınız.
Eurovision’ın yetişkin versiyonuyla ilgileniyor musun? Büyüdüğünde, şansın olduğunda Rusya’yı temsil eder misin?
Neden olmasın? Dünyaca ünlü bir şarkıcı olmak istiyorum ve Junior Eurovision kendimi göstermek için büyük bir olanak.
Favori Junior Eurovision ve Eurovision şarkıların nelerdir?
En sevdiğim Eurovision şarkısı Polina Gagarina’dan”A Million Voices”. Ve ayrıca Polina Bogusevich’in şarkısını da seviyorum.

Bu yıl gerçekleşecek Eurovision Çocuk Şarkı Yarışması, 29 Kasım Pazar günü Türkiye saatiyle 19.00’de başlayacak. Yarışma Junior Eurovision Youtube kanalından canlı olarak yayınlanacak. Eurovision tarihinde ilk defa, COVID pandemisi sebebiyle daha önceden kaydedilmiş performanslar yarışacak.
ENGLISH VERSION OF THE INTERVIEW FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL FOLLOWERS
We interviewed 11-year old girl who represents Russia at 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Constest with the song “My New Day”, Sofia Feskova. Enjoy reading!
Firstly, thank you so much for accepting our interview request Sofia. Congratulations on representing Russla at Junior Eurovision 2020! Have you always wanted to take part in Junior Eurovision?
Yes! It was my dream! I tried to get into the competition last year, but I couldn’t. And on the second try this year everything worked out. I had decent and strong competitors. And I’m so glad everyone liked my song.
Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Sofia, I am from Russia, from Sankt-Peterburg city.
How did you started singing?
I love to sing from early childhood. In kindergarten, I performed at all matinees. I already then couldn’t imagine my life without music. At the age of seven I entered the Rimsky-Korsakov music school in St. Petersburg. Classes are held 5 days a week! I also take individual vocal lessons. I give to music almost all my time, and I really like it.
Who is your biggest inspiration?
My favorite singer is Polina Gagarina. She really inspires me. She has such a strong and beautiful voice. I love to sing and listen her songs. And by the way, Polina participated in Eurovision with the song A Million Voices! And even took second place. She’s incredible!
What does your song “My New Day” mean to you? How would you describe your song?
I really like my song. It’s about how you need to fill your every day with bright colors, kindness, and light about how important to hope, not give up, and not betray your dream.
How did you spend your quarantine times at home?
I spent all time with my family and my beloved dog King Charles Spaniel, his name is Johnny. I also painted, played the piano and of course sang a lot!
As you know, the selected slogan for this year is “Move The World”. What do you think you should do as a child to move the world?
Even the smallest good deeds make the world a better. I want to fill the world with light, happiness and warmth with my songs.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself as a successful and famous artiste all over the world.
What should we expect from your Junior Eurovision performance which will be released on 29th November?
I cannot reveal all the secrets yet. I can only say that my performance will be magical and fabulous, and I will also have an insanely beautiful blue dress. I hope you will enjoy.
Are you interested in the adult version of Eurovision? If you get a chance when you’re older, would you represent Russia?
Why not? I want to be a famous artiste all over the world and Junior Eurovision is a great opportunity to show myself.
What are your favorite Junior Eurovision and Eurovision songs?
My favorite Eurovision song is “A Million Voices” by Polina Gagarina. And I also like the song of Polina Bogusevich.
Do you have any message for your Turkish supporters?
I would really like to thank all my fans! Your support is very important to me. You help me not to give up and go forward, create new songs. I want to wish you to believe in yourself and in your dream! Then you will definitely succeed!
HOW TO VOTE?
The voting system is the same as last 3 years’ free-voting system. You can vote twice -before the show and after the show-. In one periot of voting time you can vote for 3 countries including your own country. No matter where you come from, you can still vote on the official voting screen. Both online voting and jury voting determine the outcome of the competition.
This year, Junior Eurovision Song Contest is on November 29th. It will be aired on the official Junior Eurovision Youtube channel at 17:00 CET. For the first time in Eurovision history, performances which are recorded before the show day will be competed.
