MABEL MATIZ REPRESENT TURKEY ON INFEVISION
Mabel Matiz will represent our Turkey with his latest work “Toy” (Novice) in the Infevision Video Contest organised annually by the INFE.
Mabel Matiz will represent Turkey this year in the Infevision Video Contest organised by INFE (International Network of Fans of Eurovision) since 2011. The competition, in which 19 countries will participate, will be held in Reşita, Romania on 19th of December.
The lyrics of the song was written by Mabel Matiz. The music composed by Mabel Matiz and DJ Artz. The Mix and Mastering of the song made by international gold, platinum, diamond certified German mix and mastering enginieer Lex Barkey. The director of the clip, which was shot in Fethiye Kayaköy and Kaş Patara, was Osman Özel. Matiz was accompanied by a dancer and cast team in the clip which took 4 days to shoot.

Mabel tells the story of the song as follows. “Toy (Novice) is the story of human… Broken, falling, going through difficulties, but somehow continuing on its way. Until and even after reaching a better version. Human may turn into the road itself. It’s a story of self-realization. At this point, it is not what the traveler looks like, what form it appears defining him. His main issue is the relationship with his way, oneself and world. The song and the video speak of these. They talk about we can find the essence only by becoming free from form.”
